The rooms can vary significantly in size and appeal. while some offer lovely views, others are pushing towards outdated or small. The breakfast buffet is set in a cramped space that feels lackluster compared to the hotel’s elegant design, and be careful with the gardens—they close earlier than you might expect, which can throw off your plans. if you're looking for dining beyond the chateau, it may require a 20-kilometer drive to find decent options.

The Chateau Colbert struck a chord with its beautiful historic charm. The room had a stunning view over the enchanting gardens, and the decor transported me to a different time. Dinner impressed me with its presentation and use of fresh ingredients from the hotel's kitchen garden, proving to be a memorable culinary experience. The restaurant's ambience, with elegant decoration and inviting atmosphere, truly complemented the dining experience. I relaxed thoroughly in the gorgeous walled garden, which felt like a hidden gem for peaceful strolls. the breakfast setup disappointed. it was cramped and lacked the charm that the rest of the hotel showcased. dinner reservations are crucial during busy weekends to ensure a spot. Having only a limited menu outside the hotel necessitates a drive for other dining options. Parking can get constrained during peak periods, so arriving early is advisable.

Dining Experience Worth Every Euro
The majestic atmosphere at Chateau Colbert felt like stepping into history. Our room overlooked the enchanting oriental gardens, and the food was artfully crafted, exceeding expectations. Breakfast with freshly baked breads was a delightful start to each day.
While the overall stay was pleasant, the reception staff could have communicated garden hours better, leading to a missed visit. it would have been ideal for luggage assistance upon check-in.

During my stay, I enjoyed a spacious room with beautiful views. The dining rooms were remarkable, creating a lovely atmosphere. I had a memorable dinner at the restaurant, which was an adventure in French cuisine. While not a fan of overly sophisticated meals, the experience was worthwhile. I travel with my family and appreciate places that combine history with comfort. I had a little trouble at the reception but it did not ruin my experience.

We had a lovely stay in a Prestige double room. The views of the oriental gardens were amazing, and the dining rooms were beyond splendid.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but still worked out well.

Perfect getaway with amazing food
We had a blast staying here! The room was super spacious and the decor really took us back in time. Dinner was a standout—really delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. It did get a bit noisy at times with other guests around, but the vibe was still nice. Totally worth it for a night!
